Shadows, types, patterns, and prophecy

The Bible is filled with shadows, types, and patterns, as well as prophecy.

The thing that has been is what shall be, and that which was done is what shall be done...
Ecclesiastes 1:9a

All Hebrew names have meanings.  Here is an amazing example of how God hid his plans using the patriarchal names and their meanings, from Adam to Noah (who is a 'type' of the Rapture).

Name Meaning
Adam Man
Seth Appointed
Enosh Mortal
Cainan Sorrow
Mahalalel Praised One Of God
Yared Descend
Enoch Dedicated
Methusaleh    His Death Will Bring
Lamech Despairing
Noah Rest

Inserting grammatical words, we get the Gospel (good news) in the names:
Man is appointed mortal sorrow but the Praised One of God descended and dedicated his death that will bring the despairing rest.

Anytime you read about a door in scripture, take a second look to see if it may be the Rapture door.  Examples:

Your dead will live, their corpses will arise.  Awake and shout joyfully all who lie in the dirt.  For your dew is as the dew of plants, and the earth will throw forth the spirits.  Depart my people, come into your inner rooms, and shut your double-doors behind you.  Hide yourself in a tiny instant, until my rage is over.  For, behold, YHWH will appear out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity.  The earth also shall uncover her murderous guilt, and shall no more hide her slain.
Isaiah 26:19-21 TKJV

Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When its branch is yet tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near.  So likewise you, when you see all these things, know that it is near, at the doors!
Matthew 24:32-33

After these things I looked, and behold, a door was opened in heaven; and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me which said, "Come up here..."
Revelation 4:1

And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom comes; go out to meet him.  Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps.  And the foolish said to the wise, Give us of your oil, for our lamps are going out. [Hebraism for dying]  But the wise answered, saying, No, lest there not be enough for us and you.  But go rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.  And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage; and the door was shut.
Matthew 25:6-10

Strive to enter in at the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter in and will not be able.  When once the master of the house has risen up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us, and he will answer and say to you, I do not know you nor where you are from.
Luke 13:23-25

Truly, truly [Amen, amen], I say to you, He that enters not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.  But he who enters in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.  To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out.  And when he calls out his own sheep, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him; for they know his voice.
John 10:1-4
